Anthony Hurlock

Having started dancing early 2004, like most people who experience salsa, Anthony fell in love with it. Anthony had a keen passion for the music and started my collection early on. In 2005 a Portsmouth salsa promoter employed him as a DJ due to his passion for, and ever growing collection of salsa music. Around this time he was incredibly lucky to meet one of the greatest influences of his life, his teacher and friend Lee Wright. This amazing person guided, pushed and sometimes dragged him to where he wanted to be with his dancing. He is truly grateful for his wisdom, friendship and sometimes down right silliness.

He has taught salsa in towns from Portsmouth to Brighton and am currently teaching regularly with Salsa Pimente of Brighton and Salsa Esencia of Littlehampton. In his classes he hopes to pass on the knowledge he has gained but delivered in the fun an enthusiastic way it has been shown to him.
