Adult Fitness through Dance with Vijay
This is a fun activity suitable for any sex, age (over18), size, shape, ability.
You don’t need to be fit to dance, but each session will build your fitness and agility and the best part is that you won’t feel any pain
- Dancing is a great overall exercise.
- You don’t need to bring a partner for any of the sessions.
- The first session is focussed mainly on steps and rhythmic body movements with music. Starting with some breathing and simple loosening of the body and warming up with steps, twists and turns in tune with music. Most of the movements will be translated into partner dancing. It is a wonderful way of releasing endorphins and remaining healthy and happy
- The second session will focus on structured dancing with a warm up, technique on leading and following and turning steps into partner dancing with imaginative routines and music starting with Salsa and fusing with Bollywood
- No previous experience necessary – so come on and have a go!
